Just Because You're Paranoid
Braving the frigid city air once again
It's felt like a while or more
Since I've been subjected to the gawking eyes
Gleaming tirelessly at my miserable posture
And My weak shaken steps shaping a non linear path
So queer and benign
I only made it a block or two
Before my pathetic repose began to run out of steam
And the limited motivation I carried
Dwindled into an unrecognizable amount of withered vigilance
A shattered bastion fallen to the merciless hordes around me
So Harsh and unsympathetic
I just wanted to be back in the shade
Of my silent apartment where I spend all my time
A tepid retreat from the stalking entourage I've assembled
Or merely created through worry
Bloodthirsty wolves with swords for fangs and engines for hearts
So obnoxious and just

I can feel and see you walking down the streets.. in such a way..
This piece pains my heart to see of how it made me realize just how many people out there feels this way... because I have as well..

Social anxiety is a terrible thing to deal with . I was partly in control of it for some time but things have been getting away from me lately . Especially with certain events that I only thought I was overly worried about becoming more of a reality . Things will get better though .
