Spiritually Complex

 How can I explain my

spirituality?

How can I explain my religion?



All I can say is that

it’s far from simple.

And, my spirituality, being complex,

supports my complex nature,

validates me as a complex being,

and a complex spirit,

who communes with more

than that which can be seen

or heard.



It also validates

those cultures

that came before me,

and validates the way

that I see my universe

& interact within it.



Maybe truth got lost along the way,

and those who truly care,

choose to seek it.



Maybe I’m tired of being

spoonfed the bullshit

that people feed us

to oppress

our souls.
