Before the Burn

Falling down out of sight.
Disappearing into the night.
Nightmares once again.
Scorpions sting mixed in.
Memories shattered on the floor.
Hearts entranced; finally tore.
Bitter words chewed like gum.
People always wanting some.
Fragments of sanity fell off the wall.
Covered in demises fall.
Forbidden lust takes its reign.
Shoving you into pain.
Once again left broken.
Spewing words finally spoken.
The moons beauty unveils the key.
Glancing at life’s misery.
Floating like dust in the wind.
Forgetting the suns ascend.
Making way for a new birth.
Fever blister on the realm of Earth.
Faded like a dream.
Living one big scheme.
Pleading for life’s return.
Always great before the burn.
