Bittersweet
Had a dream about her last night
Visiting from beyond
We were walking in the park
Normal stuff between owner and pet
She's been gone 8 months now
I hope she always visits me in my dreams
Still connected
Always

Beautiful! I had a dog, Flossy...when I was a young boy...she got run over by the ice cream van one summer day...I have never had another pet...so much sadness.

This is a beautiful piece-and so glad she visited you- a true connection never goes away-
I feel the same for my best friend, travel companion, roommate, my Rottie Ella-She and I just returned from our Thanksgiving trip to VA Beach-she had never seen the ocean- (she loved it by the way)- and the road trip was so fun for the 2 of us-

In dreams they will always walk with us...just as they do when we’re awake...always along side us, I believe anyway, especially when they knew they were part of the family...I’m smiling she came to you...bittersweet indeed...hugs to you Poppa

Thx babe
I went to visit her in the park today,it was bitter cold and the snow had killed off the wild flowers, except for one little group. It gave me hope .....

A few years ago I lost my job. It was a very painful experience as it tore me from from students I loved and was dedicated to help. Depression was the epitome of my next routine. Until that dream. Dogs came to surround and protect me from my unknown enemies. They came into my house and fended off some troubling spirits. They were quite real in my mind. I awoke feeling refreshed and blessed. I love dogs although I don't have one. They are people too.

I have to say, my dog was my world for 15 years. She came in our lives in the most organic kind of way, walking down the street I found her. She needed a home. I took her. I'm not over her yet, probably never will be. One day I'll get another. I'll know when the time is right. Your story speaks volumes.

Your girl will never abandon you when you need her. She loves you too much for that. Family is everything. I suspect she will walk silently by your side as long as you need her. Proudly, head high and big smile on her beautiful face. Nobody can tell me dogs don't smile. I've seen it. Your girl smiles for you, I'm sure of it
