When It's Broken
If I told you it was broken? Would you want to fix it?
Would you pick up the pieces or break out the glue?
Would you throw it to the ground and say it wasn't possible?
What if I said it's always been broken but you seem to look beyond the cracks and the chips?
Would you still want it then?
What if it could not be fixed?
Would you try to?
Could you accept throwing it away?
What would you do if I said it is broken because it must be?
That it had to be
Would you care?
Do you understand now?
Created in his image, but we are flawed...
A lunatic god playing a song on a flute of cracked stone
But are we really any different?
Is our perception not that of a babbling schizophrenic?
Or is it that i'm losing my faith in reality?
Could it perhaps not me that is cracked but the impliments of which I perceive this reality?
Or is there more?
Forever I am to be left here. Reaching out beyond my mind to embrace the unknown
