Never Get Out
I live in a place of darkness
Without a light at the end
I had to endure the pain
But how how long I lasted
The only one who loved me had a dark truth
Cheating on me with someone from nextdoor
Didn't even tell me face to face
A coward leaving paper on my counter
I stand here now, on hope's steel edge
Staring into the black waters below
In my right hand I grasp the note
I take a step, of my life I let go
Without a light at the end
I had to endure the pain
But how how long I lasted
The only one who loved me had a dark truth
Cheating on me with someone from nextdoor
Didn't even tell me face to face
A coward leaving paper on my counter
I stand here now, on hope's steel edge
Staring into the black waters below
In my right hand I grasp the note
I take a step, of my life I let go
