Leaving
Mommy. why did you allow me
To be swallowed by life
Why did you not see
I was dead and yet alive
Mommy, why did you not protect
me, your child from bad things
I wanted you to be perfect
A mommy, a protector my shields
Mommy, why did you let them touch
me, and rape my body and my soul
Didn't you care about my hurt
When I cried and howl
I was thirteen mommy dear
When those whom you loved
Treated me like a whore
From the beginning, I was fucked
I cry now for you mommy
But you can't hear me
You chose to ignore me
Since I was born
Now interred on this hard Earth
I can only be hurt and hurt again
You forgot me in death
Just like you always have
You left me crying
Mommy, just like when you gave birth
I am just praying
That in death you found peace
To be swallowed by life
Why did you not see
I was dead and yet alive
Mommy, why did you not protect
me, your child from bad things
I wanted you to be perfect
A mommy, a protector my shields
Mommy, why did you let them touch
me, and rape my body and my soul
Didn't you care about my hurt
When I cried and howl
I was thirteen mommy dear
When those whom you loved
Treated me like a whore
From the beginning, I was fucked
I cry now for you mommy
But you can't hear me
You chose to ignore me
Since I was born
Now interred on this hard Earth
I can only be hurt and hurt again
You forgot me in death
Just like you always have
You left me crying
Mommy, just like when you gave birth
I am just praying
That in death you found peace
