Unraveling the threads today
My reflection screamed at me from the depths of a bodybag
though my ego feels victorious in the background
Dragging these chains of self distortion in my shame
Pooling the energies of a mocking regret
while the discontent echoed off my ribs
My breath begins to quicken
Swimming in the scent of my fear
To be thin
or die trying?
That is the question

thoroughly exquisite poetic exposition of a serious social problem. Reads a little like Sylvia Plath.
