My eyes have cried more tears than you would ever know
I put on a smile so no one can see what I hide locked deep inside
I trusted
I loved
My heart was left in shambles
I yearned for someone to fall as I had fallen to

I screamed

I have often used the word "broken" myself and your expression
through words deeply captures your pain.
Some re-assembling of breaks
creates a stronger whole.
