Unspoken Emotions
Unspoken emotions can be conveyed by our eyes
Even though we think they're effectively disguised
That glimmering sparkle deep within them sometimes says it all
Although the destination of love wasn't where you wanted to fall
It was an exotic resort of which you vowed to never return to
Because far too many times that place made you look like a fool
Now you've relapsed and have again started sipping
While the effects of its inebriation has you tripping
Unsuccessfully, you're seeking to find a support group
Cause like crack did to Pookie, that thing be calling you
That buzz just makes you feel so goddamn good
Wondering if you're still in a good neighborhood
You want to call the police because you feel like you've been assaulted
But the rational side of your brain said, "no man you may end up in a coffin"
You're gonna have to deal with the affliction of the addiction on your own
It will be almost an impossible mission because that place feels like home
