With this ring I be wed until one of us is dead
Those were the heartfelt words that he said
But sometimes two people start to grow apart
They each have to do what's best for their hearts

That doesn't always mean that the love is truly gone
But it may just mean that they need to move along
Who's to say what is right and what is wrong
When it's not them that's weathering the storm

Happiness is a conscious decision we've all got to make
The reality is that you can not give that power to a mate
Self love is the most important love for anyone to obtain
Sometimes complacency causes others not to act the same

Whatever you do to make one love you and want to always be with you
You have to maintain that with consistency no matter what you go through
In this world it's more so about what have you done for me lately not in the past
