Red Eye
In your place a black figure lay..in a dark sleeping bag...on the bench that day...I stood and stared...but it did not move...I cringed...I went...down the boardwalk to sit...I watched it and watched it...as the cold ate at my bones
I saw from the corner of my eye...a black shadow crawl by...I blink...suddenly to think...that can't be real...late you came...and i held you close...thats when you told me...you saw shadows..
I point to the bench but the thing was gone...i wanted to run to my car..then right underneath our feet...a black shadow ran...under the boards in the dark...in the night...
I made it to my car leaving you behind...when something catches your eyes...the thing in my car...in the dark in the night...it had red eyes...I smirked at him and he was in fear of me...i felt the energy rush through me....and i laughed to myself
