Thank you babe for giving me
another chance at life,
to become the man i am
for you to be my wife.
For showing me another way
in which to lead my life,
ridding me of all fake friends
to think about what's right.
You've helped me grow and to evolve
perspective it has changed,
it's the little things in life
that really make my day.
Like eating round the dinner place
laughter all around,
got you in a headlock now
feeling rather proud.
Pillow fights all through the night
cuddles till the morn,
squeezing you so god damn tight
man i feel reborn.
We conquer each goal that we set
we always see it through,
tick the box then check what's next
our sky of love so blue.
I'm on your team as you are mine
i love the way we gel,
little kisses on your forehead
your hair and how it smells.
I'm in total awe of you
my old life now seems shit,
it can't compare
you are the best
there's nothing i do miss.
I've closed the door
unhappy thoughts
this demon will not win,
pursuing my redemption
to repent my sins.
Welcomed into kingdom
save a space for me,
i made mistakes
but learned from them
so please god set me free.
Keep me walking in the light
with this angel of delight,
i call my wife who gives me life
to draw another breath.
She keeps me fresh my spirits high
she is my shooting star,
blessed from heavans up above
that is what you are.
So take my hand
walk in the sand
it's only me and you,
we trudge the road to happiness
forever to be true.
Put your life into my hands
and give me all your trust,
i will do the same with you
and prove that love 'don't hurt'
A special love can make you whole
illuminate your soul,
wash away bad memories
the futures the new goal.
So on that note
i leave for now
return of course i will,
with another poem sure
