Ugly disorderly things
they convolute my thoughts
boom go the drums
war is near
I will fight this time
the tortured thoughts
within my mind
see me cry

I lost my love in the blink of an eye
somewhere lost behind closed eyes
and I close my eyes trying to find him
in the dark of my mind
but I have run out of time
he is lost yet so near
