Lost Hope
Lost Hope
She peered through the window
As rain pelted the ground
She wondered would she see him again
Cynically she thought, as she looked down
Though he certainly caused her pain
She couldn't help but still love him
Through rose colored glasses he looked the same
But without them, he caused her shame
Broken trust, for one night of lust?
Her heart now, could never be changed
Many lies and broken trust
He took from her, the only possession
Her love for him and her passion
Her heart shattered in jagged pieces
She stands in a trance, to reminisce
Vows to love and respect, now gone
He played her like a pawn
How does she move on, without him
She contemplates her next move
She draws the curtains closed
Slips off her silken robe
Opens her nightstand drawer
Chooses her weapon well
Pulls the trigger, because she's lost all hope
