HAUNTING THE DEVIL'S MOON

Darkness falls over the summit
Masking the bodies you left behind
I long for the taste of your lips
Cherries and death and other things tonight

Love me with a stake to the heart
You’re tattooed with the devil’s mark
Corpse paint and studded black leather
Beckons from a bed of raven feathers

And touch me with your curse
I’ll fuck you with my verse

Meet me at the graveyard in the shadows
And I will leave a black rose on your tomb
The light at the end of the night
Is the ghost haunting the devil’s moon

I swoon beneath the doom
Phantom gloom in nightshade bloom

I will bury all of your bones
Before the fall of angel skin
Our spiral from heavenly seats
Was a miracle of demonic sin

Drown me in arterial spray
And haunt me from beyond the grave
Beautifully tragic slaughter
Wash away in rains of winter waters

And touch me with your curse
I’ll fuck you with my verse

Meet me at the graveyard in the shadows
And I will leave a black rose on your tomb
The light at the end of the night
Is the ghost haunting the devil’s moon

I swoon beneath the doom
Phantom gloom in nightshade bloom

Lay with me as we rest in pieces
And carve your name in my wasted flesh
‘cause no one will forget our names
Burned into the tree of death, I confess
The hour has come
Nightmares become one
When the feast is brought to specters
Remember selling my soul to their knives
To hold you forevermore
I cannot imagine a colder night
Without you here
Damnation is near

And touch me with your curse
I’ll fuck you with my verse

Meet me at the graveyard in the shadows
And I will leave a black rose on your tomb
The light at the end of the night
Is the ghost haunting the devil’s moon

I swoon beneath the doom
Phantom gloom in nightshade bloom
