My first ever haiku(s). Not normally political, but sometimes you just gotta speak up. Another Republican, head hanging in shame. Perhaps a written apology.

Not sure they qualify as a haiku, but gave it a shot.

Emphasizing "the what he feels is important" i.e. "his Blues, Tweets, empty G. P. jar. and Himself"......towel reference to him throwing rolls of paper towels into the crowd in Puerto Rico.
He makes me ashamed to be mostly Republican, and even an American at times. Makes me wish him a 3 year bout with laryngitis.

You're probably gonna be pissed, but I can't stand his pompous ass...n the ominous threat ever looming with him at the wheel...but I love ur DISS-gust with him lol

Poe, my friend, it doesn't take a lot to piss me off, and you did not even come close......"Pompous Ass", did not know you were so polite!   Republican in some ways, yes, Democratic in many others. Think we need a new party for many of us. The problem here, I feel, was what was the alternative? Four years of more politics as usual? Sometimes the only choice is "which clown leads the parade this time". As far as physical damage, I think there are plenty of sane people around him to contain him from doing much. I'm just embarrassed for our country.

I've not said anything here that others must be thinking also, even in Washington. Being a citizen only, I can get away with it and not suffer much consequence, unlike some working in the public eye.  

Versatility of ink, is more like putting in my 2 cents worth and letting them keep the change.  

The friends visit and words as always, appreciated and welcomed.
