September Love
September Love
Take a long ride with me
Feel the breeze on your face
End of September, let it be
Farewell, to warm days and beer by the case
Halter tops, cut off shorts, garage sales
So long, pool parties and time is waste
End of barbeques, and the smells
I'll always remember how you taste
Summer loves, come to an end
Tender romances, gone forever and a day
I whisper your name in the wind
I wish that I could make you stay
Say hello, to golden harvest rays
Leaves, like skeletons under my feet
Brisk of chill, on this autumn day
Fields, of waving winters wheat
