My Manifest Destiny
My manifest destiny is to be the best man that I can be
While trying to have a positive impact during my journey
I've got a loving, compassionate heart but it has changed
Experiences in my life have caused me not to feel the same
I'm seeing everything in my lane from a different vantage point
Analyzing worldwide issues like a smoker after puffing on joints
Critically assessing every woman and man on GODS green land
Many are looking like fruit loops that belong with Toucan Sam
Trying to make it to the peak of the mountain top like Martin tried
Seems like the elevation keeps on changing as I continue in stride
I've got to change my frequency so that negativity doesn't engulf me
Gonna try to focus more on the positive that is sometimes hard to see
The world is in disarray and without change humanity will soon cease
Revelations tells me I'm chasing something that never will be conceived
Not a Christian but I do attentively listen to my Earthly father when he speaks
He tells me to keep the faith and that one day I will have exactly what I seek
In the unfortunate event of my demise I hope my poetic lines remain alive
So my descendants can take the wheel and the steel to continue the fight
While trying to have a positive impact during my journey
I've got a loving, compassionate heart but it has changed
Experiences in my life have caused me not to feel the same
I'm seeing everything in my lane from a different vantage point
