Hippie Van

I want to get a hippie van
and live life day by day
Travel wherever my wheels can
and do things my own way
 
I'll dress it up all nice inside
I'll make it my new home
I'll listen to my hippie jams
I'll learn to be alone
 
I'll move along the west coast
I'll spend days on the beach
I'll leave my world behind me
I'll drive out of its reach
 
I'll sing and paint to earn my wage
when I'm not on the road
I'll get along with what I have
I'll live by my new code
 
I'll get a dog who needs some love
It'll sleep by my feet
We'll take long walks to nowhere
The places I'll see, the people I'll meet!
 
I'm okay with a little hunger
I'm okay with a little cold
I'm okay with getting dirty
exploring chapters untold
 
Freedom, protect my sanity
I'll finally be untied
I'll go without fear, no looking back
intuition as my guide
