left upon the stoop - 
orphaned by decision - 
cries amoungst the pigeons - 

Disaster in a casket -
how so low you stoop - 
unwanted and forgotten - 
just somethin’ from the lost man -

unused the desolate spawn - 
sits sidelined far too long - 

a broken time to squander - 
hiding now from your loss - 
no use to greet the dawn -
sidetracked, the lonesome pawn -

cast out in plain view - 
always questioning, never to be known
broken-hearted, with nowhere to call home - 

Faster, it spins faster - 
mass doubt inside more than few -
