Black & White Sunshine

For those whose funerals hold so few-
All but forgotten in a gorgeous empty space-
Only to be seen in black and white photographs-
Treasured memories of a distant past-
-Are the many days the sun has held your face
-Are the many days the stars have held their place
-Are the many days the suns have seen the change

For those whos funerals are a grand spectacle for sight-
Unseen before your hollowed empty eyes-
For the man who is not found-
Yet his memory profound-
-Are the many days he walked below these skies
-Are the many steps he's walked throughout his time
-Are the many few who smiled at glances by

For the many who's funerals are still to take place-
How many days have you to shine upon a face-
For all the thoughts that we transcend-
No one is ready for their end-
-And still that day for all will come
-Like a mother missing one last hug
-And still that day for all will....
