The numbness of tiredness sinks
Imitating a slow moving headache
Happiness entirely absent
The feeling of subtle anger and irritation tugs on the emotional rope
One which grounds most humans
Sliding the eyelids across sight brings momentary relief
But without the ability to sleep
The false flag of wakefulness must be flown to deceive

of value to capture a legitimate portraiture of numbness... is there?

So true. There are no words, which makes it paradoxical to attempt to capture it with words. I appreciate your feedback.
