SHE LIT UP THE ROOM
She lit up the room with all her glory,
I thought, as she glanced from mirror to me,
Stripped down to her barest bridal beauty.
Erectile signals went down my body....
As a knowing couple we came to be,
As we took each other's virginity.
She said that I made love "AMAZINGLY!"
And assured she would NEVER cheat on me.

It is imaginative, not autobiographical (never married). It is inspired by various descriptions of a number of other men's first time experiences be they in reminiscences or novels.

OK. It's just that coming after the beautiful description of your first encounter and as the last line of the poem, the question in my mind is just hanging. No way to know. In the context of the rest of the poem, I would guess their love would be faithful. But life is long, lots can happen... Thanks for the poem.
