Tears of Blood

I’ve been thinking about you lately
From my thoughts you’ve been swimming
Swimming into my dreams
Where I need you to come rescue me
From this stranded ship
But you float on by hidden in an ocean
An ocean of secrets leaving me to sink
And be swallowed by this whirlwind of darkness

I’ve been thinking about how much I need you
Like the Earth needs the Sun you are my light
You are my warmth you bring me to life
You hold me in place and because of you
The days float by and because of you
I’m surviving in this cold black emptiness
My everything revolves around you
You made me and without you I cease to exist


I’m thinking so much it’s now beginning to hurt
A virus within me inflicting curses of pain all over
And now it’s in my heart pumping
Travelling to every limb causing them to shake
Shake with a jolt of sadness which makes me tremble
And it’s in my mind making me feel agony
A pain like no other
Which makes me bleed tears of infected black blood

With you I don’t need anything else
You are my peace of my mind
You keep my mind at peace
And without you
I won’t have a piece of mind
To spare for my sanity

I need you now more than ever
I’ve condemned myself to hell
Without you my life is over
So I’ll skip the judgement
Leaving you in sadness
Will be my greatest sin
With which the devil can claim me

I can’t face to look at God and the eyes of heavens
Because the eyes of my heavens are crying your tears
They crawl down your cheek and land on my heart
Burning away the tissues faster than the fire of hell

Words can’t express how much I need you
I can’t combine enough letters and throw words at you
To make you understand I need you in my life
It’s impossible for me to say just how much
So I hope the words I can’t speak
Which come screaming from my heart
And fall into a pool of tears before the ink
Will reach you somehow
