Forgotten God
Long lost, never remembered-
Fabric of the storm left weathered-
Conceptions placed with ideal truths born-
Which instantly, lost in eyes of storm-
A God not "ours", nor of we its-
Concepts in which a mind invents-
All passed, knowing cannot exist-
Forgotten God, unmissed-
Those craving power cannot wield it-
Those who should, rule isolation-
A phantom pain, left but to feel it-
Exists not, false formed inclination-
For the smoke I breathe cannot be grounded-
It expands and will not stay in place-
It assures its nomadic escape-
As we forget the values of its face-
Heavier than peace, chaos weighs-
Easier to carry in its place-
Nothing exists with sentience gone-
Cannot be missed, the gods die off-
Inept to known, non-created, incapable depiction-
As poets continue to write cycles of contridictions-
The concept of fate invents itself.
