Realize
This life is infinite
regardless of where I am now
where I will be when I'm not
alive
dead
wherever that is, I will be infinite.
I will haunt the hearts of the ones that I care for
lovingly
I will comfort and caress and kiss
the foreheads of those who demand to be felt
I will feed and serve and cherish
I am full of purpose!
I am full of life!
I am full of love!
I am infinite.
and so are you.

Amen! A highly spiritual piece. I read a son describe his recently deceased father as an infinite being and I was so touched by that truth. Brava!

Nicely written, shelby. Despite the somewhat taboo topic of death, you've written it in such a light tone and you've offered hope that death is merely the beginning of another journey.
