Tell them

I sat in my chair today
Thinking of ways
I would have done things different
I wonder if they would have listened
To everything my heart had to say
Would have made them stay
The things you don't know to say
Until they are gone away

Sometimes there are bad jokes
At wrong time that seems like a poke
The words come out broken
In a way that leaves you frozen
The mood is then chosen
Your heart becomes broken
But tell them
Tell them
Tell them what you really mean
If your heart is right there
How you loved them from the start
From their feet to their hair
Tell them you love the kisses
Tell them you love the way they walk
All of the late nights
Even days you sit and talk
Don't let them get away
Move pride to the side
You may loose the one you love
Let self ride and tell them
Tell them
What they truly mean to you
When its over
Its over
There will be no one to tell it to
