Yet they got the voters consent,
Now they are in such confusion
Ideas are spreading in profusion.

Especially if we leave faster,
We need to trade if we are to thrive,
Interim agreements hard to contrive,

Few nurses to help us when ill,
Fruit will be unpicked still.

Every lorry will have to be checked
The WTO tarriff  must be correct.
Holidays in Europe will be more pricey,
Retirement in the sun much more dicey

We'll be free to import GM food;
And reduce health and safety, will that be good?
Human rights treaty to be forsaken
Changes by the government, if I'm not mistaken

Free of the yolk of this multiple state
But who will we trade with, who is our mate?
Our empire is a thing of the past,
New alliance were meant to last.

We've been great within Europe for forty years
Why should we change it with spurious fears.
It is not too late to retract our leaving
Please do it now to save grieving.
