A Thought that Occurred in the Office
Your died red hair,.
Your lips that hang between your legs,.
The cute lumps that hang from your chest,.
The red liner of your mouth that drove the words that told of something bigger than us,.
None of that compels me anymore,.
Nothing of that nature drives me any longer,.
I stare at the cubicle walls of my office,.
I muse; looking for some rationale,.
It never seemed to hit me like i expected,.
The only thing that was built by the neurons of my brain,.
Was how you drove me completely insane,.
With a ring of my phone,.
I drop my thoughts and get back to my life,.
For the one that got away was me,.
Your loss is my gain,.
To rebuild and learn,.
To impart is to love,.
To replant the seeds that drove us,.
Is something that I no longer feel the need to do,.,.,.,.,
