They Are Among Us

Three aliens from the planet THaargjh
Walk in to a bar and order three cocktails
Being shadow shifters they look human
They put $500 behind the bar and ask
For a cold constant stream of cocktails
This is their last night on planet Earth
And they want to go out with a bang!
Their names; Pleebe, Fleebe and Xfrojjik
But to fit in they decided that it would
Be better if called Tom, Dick and Harry

T: “We need to have a reasonable exit strategy.”
D: “I need another cocktail or three.”
H: “I need to smile more.”

T: “We could prevent starvation everywhere.”
D: “I need some bar nuts.”
H: “Humans already have that capability.”

T: “We could ensure clean water for all.”
D: “Children die from drinking dirty water.”
H: “Humans already have that capability.”

T: “We could give them the cure for cancer.”
D: “But they’ve already got that!”
H: “The pharmaceutical industries are hiding it.”
T: “There’s more money in treatment than in cure.”
D: “That goes for AIDS too.”
H: “It’s a sad, sick species.”

T: “We could incinerate all paedophiles instantaneously.”
D: “They would be replaced by new recruits.”
H: “And protected by church and state.”

T: “We could pulse and destroy all technology and electricity.”
D: “That’s a bright idea; so is another cocktail.”
H: “World wars would ensue; get me a Moscow Mule.”

T: “We could disable all their weapons.”
D: “They would use swords and crossbows.”
H: “They would tear each other apart.”

T: “We could destroy all human beings.”
D: “Now that’s what I call a close encounter.”
H: “Now that’s what I call a proper final solution.”

T: “Let’s make a toast to make humanity toast.”
D: “I’ll drink to that!”
H: “Me Too; Cheers!”

Mankind is left with one hope
That Pleebe, Fleebe and Xfrojjik
Get so drunk they forget their decision
And leave us to our own devices
