Things I Would Change

One thing I wish I could change about myself.
The fact that I find weakness in getting help.
Or maybe how I'm always just so uptight and cynical?
I just see the dullness of the world I'm in as just typical.

Truth is, there's really millions of things I'd change.
I just find every fiber of my being to be strange.
But what even is normal, is there such a thing?
Is it like being a puppet pulled string by string?

If normal is like being a puppet, then my strings are cut.
Introverted, I'm like a door that's always shut.
Another thing on that long list of things I'd change, if I could.
I'm just an indecipherable book to others, forever misunderstood.
