Perpetual

I never believed much in fate until I met you. Everything made sense and everyone around us observed and encouraged. But fate felt like it was quite claustrophobic. It felt as if this independent heart suddenly didn't have her own choice. Nevertheless, I chose to leave knowing you were probably best for me, but freedom is my first love and you were merely destiny.
