My Boot is too Heavy
I have broken backs,.
My bloodied boots saturated in their lowliness,.
I sit in the aftermath of the ruins i have created,.
I live in regret of only one thing that has not been forgiven,.
That is the hurt of the one I loved,.
The one I told everything about myself,.
She poured her breath onto my ears,.
Her words seeped into my rambling mind,.
The dust I created I attempt to remold,.
I fear it is too late to reform,.
I fear I have left the broken more broken than before,.
She never needed a lip like mine to bloody her trust,.
She never deserved a boot like mine to break her neck,.
Her blood pours onto the sundeck,.
It glitters like sparkles in the sky,.
Something I had forgotten what it looked like until it was too late..,,.,
