How Christ Specifies that RUSSIA Will Attack Western Europe

Russia is to the east of Western Europe, of course.    
A hypothetical Russian invasion of Europe would be as sudden and rapid as possible, OK?    
 The German term for sudden attack by battle tanks is what?      
BLITZKREIG - "lightning war." Remember the word lightning.    
   
Well, what did Christ say?    
"For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west,    
so shall the coming of the Son of Man be" (Matthew 24.27).    
When people read this, they think it is focusing on the Appearing of Christ.    
He will somehow be like Lightning -- no, no, no.    
Look at the next verse.    
"For wherever the carcases are, there will the vultures be gathered together."(Mt 24.28).    
Christ is talking not so much about His Second Coming as much as His Appearing at the Rapture -- "the day of the Son of Man"(Luke 17.29-30, or 17.24-30).    
Which is also the day of the "SUDDEN DESTRUCTION" (1st Thessalonians 4.17-5.3).    
My point is that Christ talking of a day in the future that will be a day of destruction.    
     
It be like a REPEAT of the day when the sky rained fire..upon Sodom.(Luke 17.29-30).    
In other words a day of destruction/deliverance.    
For Lot and family were delivered when?    
On judgment day. the day Sodom was judged.    
Lot's deliverance was a token, a  microcosm, of the Rapture.    
It coincided with the judgment day.    
That combination is a message that the Rapture will occur on a similar day,    
the real Judgment Day.    
Instead of fire from the sky, it will be "stars falling"(Mat 24.29).    
Actually man-made "stars."      
They come from out of the ground (underground missile silos, like the fire that fell on Sodom came from out of the ground.    
For it speaks of "slime pits" - petroleum deposits in "the valley of Sidim"(Genesis  14.10; 19.24 ).    
     
I'm saying that instead of thinking of the "lightning flashing from east to west" as referring to Christ,      
Lets try thinking of it as referring to the sudden destruction, the fiery destruction from out of the sky - which destruction accompanies  the appearing of Christ at the Rapture.(appearing only to those departing the world in death).    
     
In short, if His words are taken THIS way, we gain an insight into just which nation is attacking Western Europe in the EndTime.    
We know already that Western Europe will invaded by a nation that will "come up among" the victim nations -- based on Daniel 7.8.    
 If we combine Daniel 7.8 (Revelation 17.8-11 explains Dan.7.8) with Matthew 24.27,    
this gives us RUSSIA as the aggressor nation.
