PIN-UP MADE UPLIFTING

(True account - what I did with a nude picture of Caroline Wozniacki I put up at my flat.)

Did something creative (might say wacky)
With pic of Caroline Wozniacki
(Danish tennis player) with nothing on,
Who that week was playing at Wimbledon.
Carried in the Star, a daily tabloid.
Eyes looking at you, viewer can’t avoid,
Holding over her shoulder a racket
As if a coming ball she would whack it,
Standing sideways, all quite tastefully posed
Without nipples and lady-bits exposed.
I cut out this pic of her in disrobe
To stick inside the door of my wardrobe,
So when I open it it would appear,
To put on my face a smile and some cheer.
I put blank sticky labels on background,
To write a ‘thinks’ bubble and text profound.
I put words “Now, what shall I wear today?”
As if she was going to come out to play,
Into the mouth of the pensive player,
Next to her head and long shining blonde hair.
Near her rump I placed a biblical text
To put the pic in more moral context,
From Luke, chapter 12, verses 22
And 23, where Lord Jesus tells you
Not to worry for body, food, clothing,
There’s more to life, they’re not everything.
