Cherokee Rose

A view from afar,
as she seeps
amaranthine whispers,

celestial eddies
sluice gently encapsulating
my internal purgatory,

respire luminance seducing
my sopor propensity.

Ancients walk with her,

emanating mystic drum beats
of hypnotic transparency,

ta-wo-di encircle
as she traipse elegantly
goddess of nature,

mother of e-la
fierce warrioress
mighty da-ga-no-ge-da
fisted she stands.

The U-ne-qua rains
tsi-la-do-o-s-gi
draping her frame,
even her a-s-gi
seems to u-tse-tsi,

how I long to be captured
by her u-wo-du-hi,
do-hi-yi.

u-wo-du-hi (Beautiful)
a-s-gi (Dream)
da-ga-no-ge-da (Strong)
u-tse-tsi (Smile)
do-hi-yi (Peace)
tsi-la-do-o-s-gi (Falling flowers)
ta-wo-di (Hawk)
e-la (Earth)
u-ne-qua (Great spirit)
