Don't Look To Me
You threw the die,and lost your bet;
Now its time to pay your debt;
Flowery words and opaque smiles;
Store bought roses and sheepish wiles
Didn't take long to see through you;
Now you're spent and feeling blue;
Hoping somehow she'll come back to you;
Yet she knows you're a castaway;
With no money for bills to pay;
You haven't worked in god knows how long;
You moan and cry the same old song;
"Oh where,oh where did our love go wrong?"
Don't look to me, i have nothing to say;
I am better off since you went away.
Now its time to pay your debt;
Flowery words and opaque smiles;
Store bought roses and sheepish wiles
Didn't take long to see through you;
Now you're spent and feeling blue;
Hoping somehow she'll come back to you;
Yet she knows you're a castaway;
With no money for bills to pay;
You haven't worked in god knows how long;
You moan and cry the same old song;
"Oh where,oh where did our love go wrong?"
Don't look to me, i have nothing to say;
I am better off since you went away.
