This is my 100th poem on here and I wanted too do something special.

The 100 march to their death
You and I, side by side
We are not cowards
We will fight to survive

I listen to what's drilled
follow orders, don't get killed
Kill, maim, total destruction
Pity is for those already gone

We fight and fight
slaughter through the night
In your darkest hour
I am yours

And when the bullets fly
I hear you cry
And see I'm shot
I lay down in your arms to rot

You are revived
with my breath of life
I take away your pain
slowly losing my strength

I reload and with a rebel yell
I charge into the great peril
I shout your name at the top of my lungs
As I am killed and done

You are the only survivor
of the great 100 war
You take my body home
and from the ashes I am reborn
