into a flesh colored blur
a memory I can touch
and feel
but only
from the outside

You could strike "that there was" without losing anything and "it's" should be "its".

Some things are buried so deeply they may never resurface. Only make their presence known in tiny movements of triggered memory.

Better to be on the outside & moving away I think. These words suggest the pain is still there but in a different form now.
