Anticipated Storm
I felt an incursion
For many years
a storm was brewing
It grazed upon my fears
I foresaw the tempest
the turbulent gales
I knew its force
would devour my sails
It raged upon arrival
I was ill prepared
for the pounding downpour
inner war declared
Madness consumed me
flooding my soul
with an ominous darkness
black as coal
Like a typhoon
my mind spun round
unable to breathe
towards hell I was bound
No one to save me
a fiery decline
no hope of survival
bedlam by design

the turbulent gales
I knew its force
would devour my sails

I was ill prepared
for the pounding downpour
