A Graceful Dance
Her memories are warm: she loves each thought
That takes her back to pleasures once enjoyed;
She delights in the fact master has sought
To use her handsomely; and he's deployed
The courtesy to keep her in her place,
Aware charm's a veneer, there to instil
The discipline to suppress every trace
Of resistance, as she finds every thrill
Will heat her and excite her, and, she thinks
The taster, she's been offered, gives the chance
To step right back from abysses and brinks
That would preclude her any graceful dance
Back into arms that stay open for her,
But wait for her to nod, kneel and concur.
