With Christ Comes the Dawn
At dawn the rising sun shines forth.
Out of the darkness has come the conquering light.
...........................................
Like darkness envelops the world at night,
my mind is shrouded in depression,
I walk in blackness - mental midnight.
But then the thought of Christ resurrecting lights up the eastern edge of that darkness.
As He ascends like the sun to the zenith,
the skies turn blue, the blueness of a cloudless Spring day.
My blindness is gone, I can see clearly again.
But now I am indebted because I have been given a second chance.
(For the upteenth time.)
I should learn to be grateful.
That's the kind of repayment He is satisfied with.
Out of the darkness has come the conquering light.
