HOUND OF HADES

Cerberus, hold me back
I can’t help my own Hell
The darkness all around us

The madness all around us
I relive my own Hell
Walk with me, Cerberus

I can hear their screams
And taste their pain
In my blackest dreams
And burning flames
From dead kings and queens
To meat and maim
Gracing tarnished screens
In dying games

Cerberus, hold me back
I can’t help my own Hell
The darkness all around us

The madness all around us
I relive my own Hell
Walk with me, Cerberus

Wear the Helm of Night
On this death head
Persephone lights
The way instead
Of the ways of fright
To my deathbed
Of silken delights
Sleep with the dead

 Cerberus, hold me back
I can’t help my own Hell
The darkness all around us

The madness all around us
I relive my own Hell
Walk with me, Cerberus

Strip the flesh
Of eager ladies
Death’s embrace
And hate me maybe
Gnaw the bones
Rancid with rabies
At the throne
My hound of Hades

Ponder with me eternity
At the Asphodel Meadows
Ponder naughty Aphrodite
On the Mourning Fields ever nightly

 Cerberus, hold me back
I can’t help my own Hell
The darkness all around us

The madness all around us
I relive my own Hell
Walk with me, Cerberus

Strip the flesh
Of eager ladies
Death’s embrace
And hate me maybe
Gnaw the bones
Rancid with rabies
At the throne
My hound of Hades
