Why do I feel like crap?
The weight is on my shoulders
My heart is heavy but it's so damn empty
Am I a lost cause?
Been too focused on other people's needs and expecatations
That I forgot mine
How did I forget myself
Talking around asking for help
You think I got nobody else
I'm with Jesus and in God's army
Who's side are you on?

Life is a battlefield
Always fighting for something
Even if it's beyond your control, you're on a roll
Making money, going to places
Seeing many faces
Can you put a name to it?
Everyone has a name
Everyone has a label
Everyone wants to know you
But do you even know yourself?
Who is going to find you
While you are lost at sea
Lost at the center of your soul
Lost on your very own future goals
Nowhere to go, nowhere to hide
Yet you have so much to confide
On the outside
Break a shell, ring a bell
Take a break from the world
Be an open book
Still let people in
But make them cook up some love
Bonding stronger and closer to make ends meet
Meeting your truer you
