splashing in the deepest ocean
moving always up and down
surging with a tidal motion
merging with the all around

no one's coming, no one's saving
all together all alone
empty pleas in echo chambers
emptiness is our true home

emptiness is in each atom
in the space between the stars
in our thinking and our feeling
when we're Venus, when we're Mars

currents flowing, generating
in the places in between
emptiness is just like waiting
somewhere empty in a dream

reverberating back again
waves reflecting dissipating
like a drop of falling rain
