sckitzophrenics thought process( things we know)

There are things in life we know
like how I'm real
and how your fake
how I always give
and they always take
how people can't ever
be dependable
how I look strong
but inside I break
how my mouth is closed
but in my mind's eye
 it is wide and howling
my hands are at my sides
but I see them hit claw punch and destroy
but still, my hands are uselessly clenched in fists
how bloody old scars mar my wrists
the words are quieted by the screams
the wakefulness is strangely diluted with dreams
the whys and what ifs of yesterday
are the be causes of today
I used to love without reason
now I believe love has its season
and hatered is fuel for each day
the reason I don't just lay and decay
when rhyme has no will when the ink has no quill
and paperless hues on a skin canvas
i too search for forever and whatever that means for me
so excuse me if I don't laugh at your cruelty
I don't find another's painful degradation funny
but ill always laugh when pomposity falls
so marking this small corner of time
with thoughts that are the only freedom allowed
in our thoughts, we can take flight
weave better tomorrows with all of our might
canvases painted in colorful hues every bright beautiful rendering
is artful in its own right but to the understanding beholder
an infinite delight  a schizophrenics thought process
