A letter from Anne
I'm a sunflower that never knew the rays of the sun or the nurturing touch of a gardener, wilting in darkness, struggling to bloom.
Amongst roses and lillies, yellow petals falling, pushing on daisies, half dead trying to bend towards the little sunshine coming through rust holes in the roof.
Surviving on a drop of rain that comes to resuscitate you just as you breath your last profound words, confessing a love you could never have returned to you. A love that exists but was never meant to be.
