I promise you Love  
at times unconditional  
and above and far beyond  
love for self(yes, hard it may be to confess- it does exist)  
this confession  
is as brutal  
for me  
as it is  
certainly  
for you  
 
I promise  
co-existence  
and freedom  
of

from  
expectations  
 
that only  
I can promise  
for sure  
 
no  
it is not  
my job  
to mold you  
nor is it  
yours  
to mold me  
 
I promise  
to hold you  
regardless  
your promise  
to hold me  
 
disregard  
the false niceties  
or sweet nothings  
of prior  
when you saw  
the universe glow  
in my eyes  
it was a mirage  
the glow  
was but  
a reflection
