We were all sold a lie
Now we’re forced to comply
Legislation to force us
To love one another
Regardless of integration
This was not the way
It was meant to be

“What we need is, a
“Great big melting pot.”
We were all going to live
Together in harmony
High ideals for low life humans
The experiment begun has failed
Every city with conclaves
Based on race and creed
Everyone selfishly guarding
Their own patch, their turf
People looking after just
Their very own people
Radical borders created
Try reaching out a hand now
Try rolling out the welcome wagon
Nobody wants to know
White privilege has no baring
Everyone has privilege
Within their own barricades
They manufacture their own
Ethnic superiority and privilege
Multiculturalism be damned
Damned by all races and creeds
People pretend the melting pot
But it doesn’t really exist
Multiculturalism demands
Compromise and integration
It has failed, broken down
Maybe it was never meant to be
Maybe it’s just a failed experiment
So what now?
Do we go to war?
